Lithium metal batteries, built on anodes we deposit ourselves.
FLUX produces uniform ultra-thin lithium metal anodes by vacuum physical vapor deposition, and the high energy density cells that run on them.
- Energy density
- 500 Wh/kg
- Anode thickness
- < 20 µm
- Deposition width
- > 250 mm
- Operating range
- −20 to 60 °C
“Safer, For Longer.”
We aim to be a global leader in next-generation energy storage, redefining robotics, drones, and future mobility through sustainable lithium metal technology that unites performance, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
FLUX Corporation, founded July 2024 in Cheonan, Republic of Korea.
A uniform lithium film is the whole problem.
Conventional lithium metal anodes deposit unevenly. The rough surface seeds dendrites, dendrites pierce the separator, and the cell fails. Our vacuum PVD process lays down a film flat enough that the dendrites never start.

Vacuum PVD technology
Lithium physical vapor deposition solutions.
Conventional lithium metal anode
- Non-uniform films that seed dendrite growth
- Particle formation during deposition
- Thickness limited to under 20 µm
- Width limited to under 100 mm

FLUX lithium metal anode
- Uniform ultra-thin lithium films
- Dendrite growth suppressed
- Stable Multi-SEI protective layer
- Under 20 µm thick at over 250 mm wide
